Building Skills. Changing Lives. Powering the Workforce of Tomorrow.

The London Construction Academy (LCA) provides free, life-changing training that helps people gain skills, qualifications and employment in the construction industry to help tackle London’s construction skill shortage.

A Charity Creating Opportunity in Construction

The London Construction Academy is an independent charity founded by the Worshipful Company of Paviors and FM Conway. For over a decade, we’ve helped hundreds of people facing barriers to work gain accredited qualifications, confidence and a pathway into employment.

By bridging the skills gap between an ageing workforce and a new cohort of construction talent, we’re helping the industry build the skilled workforce it urgently needs.

Measurable Social Impact, Real Economic Value

Every course we run delivers measurable outcomes for learners, employers and London’s wider economy. Our independently verified Social Impact Report shows how each £1 invested in LCA generates £13.87 in social value, through employment, wellbeing and community benefit.

Training That Leads to Real Jobs

LCA’s free 15-day course provides practical training, nationally recognised certifications, and direct introductions to employers at our Graduation Job Fair. Every learner receives free travel, daily lunches and mentoring to ensure they can focus on building the essential skills for their future.

Working Together to Build London’s Future Landscape

We collaborate with major employers, local authorities and referral partners across the capital. Together, we’re creating access, opportunity and long-term change.

Help Us Change More Lives

Your funding allows us to run free courses, mentor graduates and connect them to meaningful employment. Every contribution creates life-changing opportunities and helps develop the construction sector’s future workforce.
